On Friday 10th November Marc Edwards, a member of the Desborough and Rothwell Photographic Society, gave a print talk entitled “My History Through Club Photography” to fellow members. Beginning with his early work as a novice in camera clubs in Essex (before the arrival of the digital era) his prints started as small 10 inch by 8 inch mounted photographs. With experience his work became more successful, he progressed to the advanced sections and the size of the prints gradually increased in size. His subject matter has always been very varied, including travel, wildlife, flowers, architecture, portraiture, landscape, sport, aeroplanes and classic cars. Eventually he converted to digital photography and continues to produce successful work, one of his prints being accepted in the Midland Counties Photographic Federations 2017 Travelling Photofolio. Chairman Paul Nickerson thanked Marc for a very interesting and entertaining evening.

On Friday 24th November there will be an audio-visual evening with several Society members providing the entertainment at 8.00pm at Marlow House, Gold Street, Desborough NN14 2NQ
